Understanding tropical water systems

C. Petheram, P. Jolly and S. J. Tickell
NAIF, NRETAS
Provides an overview of the current understanding of the hydrological systems across the north of Australia. One of the key purposes of the report is to address some of the community perceptions and misconceptions about the hydrology of the north. Particular emphasis has been placed on illustrating the differences between water systems in northern Australia and those found in temperate Australia. The study and report were not based in the Daly region, however mentions of work completed there are included.
